Movie Premiere

If you had told me a month and 4 days ago, while i was still volunteering in a rural community in Guatemala, that i would participate in activities that were both superficial and celebrity-friendly, i would've probably spat in your face. And the fact of the matter is, if you told an American (or a New Yorker, rather) that you bumped into someone like Katherine Heigl, they would've shrugged their shoulders and changed the topic. But the reality is that I live in an isolated Australia and my biggest star-exposures have been occasional interactions with a Neighbours actor. And so you can understand why this evening's affairs were a big culture shock as well as a lot of fun.

Specifically, you ask? Well I attended the world premiere of, 'Live as We Know It', with the LA Basser's, a few of their friends and some of the Bigio's. Not that i'm a massive fan of Katherine Heigl, but i did enjoy the movie for the chick flick that it is. I had the opportunity to spy on the cute Josh Duhamel and Josh Lucas, have a lame happy snap with Heigl (who was quite striking and humble), glare at her husband and have a few drinks.

BUT my biggest disappointment of the night was that i did not get to meet Christina Hendricks, who featured in the film. Who, for those who don't know, is the beautiful and very voluptuous secretary on Mad Men.

Ah well, better luck next premier...

  1. You would have been disappointed Heigl is way prettier than Hendricks in person.
