Spent Yom Kippur last week with the Abeshouse's, in their beautiful neighbourhood Pelham, which is just north of Manhattan. Despite the long shule day and 25hr fast, it was a lot of fun.
To break the fast, we went to Jack and Evie's for dinner on Long Island. It was so nice to see them, and also to get my grandparent fix. Plus there was CHALLAH. FINALLY something i haven't eaten for 7months. Aaaaaah.
The coolest part of the night was when Jack pulled out a Guest Book that had on record dad's entire family - Julian, Adrienne, Lee-Ann ( 9 1/2yrs), David (8 1/2yrs), Greg (7 1/2yrs), and Dad (5yrs... he couldn't even spell his name!)
