Near Death Experience

Honestly, i think we almost died last week when hiking Pakaya volcano, just 3 weeks after it errupted. Probably didn't help that we went on a day that also was hit by a pretty awful hurricane hit Antigua. But experiencing a hot spot, which is essentially a dry area above lava, made it all worthwhile. It's now taken exactly 5 days for my shoes and backpack to dry.
