L.E.S.

Living with Ellen in the village has made hanging out in the Lower East Side exceptionally easy.

It really has it all - gardens, cool street art and some very strange galleries.

The best part? A mystery space called "Tribal Gallery" - literally located in an unmarked apartment. After following some discreet stairway to the second floor, I opened another unmarked door to find an old 80-something year old, blind man seated at a couch. A professor and writer, he told me about his life and invited me to look around his 18th century home. Cool, huh?
1st clue: #285
In the lobby, a montage of famous poets
2nd clue: a letterbox suggesting what level to proceed to
Front door
Gallery space: apparently they have regular exhibitions, poetry readings and launch parties
