Why I love NY #2

High Line

cool rooftop garden
street art
Hogan McLaughlin shoes @ Daphne Guinness exhibition
Soho synagogue
Housingworks Bookstore
brothers..
mum - central park
multitasking - listening to his ipod and riding a horse at the same time
Brooklyn bridge

Pretty much sums up people who live in Brooklyn
Really?

Thanksgiving

Spent my first thanksgiving with family in NYC, starting off with brunch onlooking the Macy's parade at Columbus Circle (blew me away).
View of the parade from our window

Sunrise across central park
High School Cheerleaders

What really amazed me were the predominately high school marching bands...

And what would a New York parade be without its celebrities? A little disappointing they didn't perform..
Neil Diamond
Miss America
Mary J. Blige - to the right of the yellow cab
Cee Lo Green

Later we gathered at the Bigio's for a traditional dinner that involved a very large turkey, weird 'savoury' dish of sweet potato and marshmallow, champagne with cranberries and some good quality time with family i rarely see.
